On 01/27/20 I initially contacted Roto Rooter (Company #1) to replace a diverter cartridge located in the tub's knob at my rental property. When I asked Company #1's plumber, twice, the cost to replace the diverter cartridge, his eyes rolled to the left and before quoting me a price of $1,000; Shortly, thereafter, he lowered it to $900.00, stating it would take 3 hours to repair as he had to cut into the drywall of my acrylic (bath fitter style) tub. I throw Company #1's plumber off my rental property. On 01/28/20, I contacted Emerald Plumbing Co. (EPC) via telephone the same day and described the issue with the tub knob. EPC estimated the cost at approx. $250.00. You know I hired them right away! EPC's plumber John, arrived earlier than anticipated. He repaired the tub knob within an hour and I paid very close to the price quoted. I was so impressed with EPC Plumber John and truly appreciate his honesty. He did an amazing job and is a stand-up individual. We had a wonderful conversation. At my request, he shared with Company 1 everything he had to do in order to fix the leaky knob and that it took him less than 1 hour to do so. I recommend reading my Better Business Bureau, Complaint ID #ID14122124, filed against Company #1. Today, I met with the General Manager and a Head Supervisor of Company #1 and settled this dispute. EPC will always have my business. I highly recommend EPC, especially Plumber John. He was punctual, courteous, and very honest. He provided quality service in an efficient and timely manner.

Emerald is my new plumber! I called Emerald Plumbing to take a look at a tankless water heater I'd been having trouble with. My usual plumber was unfamiliar with the brand I had. When I asked Emerald if they were familiar with my brand, they said they were and that they'd be happy to look at it. Even though I said my repair wasn't an emergency, Emerald dispatched an expert within an hour or two of my call. Rod--who was truly an expert--was friendly and professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem and explained the solution. All in all, the repair took about an hour. When it was complete, Rod offered me some recommendations for the future. I thought the price was very fair for the complexity of the item that required service and for Rod's time and expertise. Emerald will be my first call for any future plumbing needs.
